Weta Cave is located at corner of Camperdown Rd and Weka St, Miramar, Wellington. It is a mini museum that house some of the characters, props and displays from movies like LOTR, The Chronicles of Narnia, and King Kong. One of the co-founders is the Academy Award winner director, Peter Jackson. At Weta Cave, you get to purchase limited edition sculptures, hand-crafted by the artists at Weta. There is also a short film screening that gives you a behind-the-scene look at how Weta Studio produces the effects and props for box office movies.
