Day 3, Part 2: Punakaiki - Hokitika - Fox Glacier, 22 Mar 2011
After lunch at Punakaiki, the journey continues south towards Fox Glacier. I’m back at State Highway 6 (SH6) again, past Greymouth and after 1 hour 15 minutes, I took a break at Hokitika.

Day 3, Part 1: Greymouth - Punakaiki, 22 Mar 2011
Greymouth is actually located at the mouth of Grey River, which is how this place got the name. I wanted to visit the Pancake Rocks at Punakaiki but not sure of best time to reach there for the high tide. Lets check it out at i-SITE when it opens at 8:30AM

Day 2: Christchurch - Greymouth, 21 Mar 2011
After spending a night at Christchurch on Day 1, it’s time to head towards Greymouth using State Highway 73 (SH73). Weather forecast says that it’s fine on west coast for the rest of the week. Christchurch and the east will have rain instead.

I made many stops along SH73 to take some scenic photos.
Day 1: Auckland, 20 Mar 2011
This is part 1/16 of my New Zealand south island trip. My flight from Singapore to Auckland was delayed almost 2 hours. I guess this is what budget is all about. I was supposed to reach Auckland International Airport at 11:25AM but the plane touch down only after 1PM. My next flight to Christchurch is 5:40PM, and the trip from airport to Auckland city is about 40 minutes. So, this gives me approximately 1.5 hours to tour the city.

Broga Hill, Semenyih - Sunrise
Date: 06-Jun-2009
Time: 06.00
On my second trip to Broga Hill, I started off my journey from KL at 5.30am and reached there at about 6am. It was totally dark at that time, and I’m a bit concern about the security at Broga. To my surprise, the place is actually crowded with people and many cars have already parked in a long queue at the road side. My friends and I are well prepared with torch lights and in less than 45 minutes, we were already up at the first peak.
